My training in brass horns started 1984 as a baryton player in the school/marching band Furuset Skoles Musikkorps, I played there for 9 years under the conductor Björn Myhre, he was also my baryton horn teacher. After a long break when I focused on Indian music and also played some tuba I discovered the valve trombone, the baryton horns cooler relative. Then I started performing in various reggae/afro groups as well as Stockholms musikkår Tre Kronor, a symphonic brass band where I can show of my my marching skills in the summer. I am also a member of the ultimate balkan party brass band FestiByn and reggea/ska band Awaj Collective since many years.
